The impact of our training
Enough Abuse’s training courses have a lasting impact on the people who attend – developing their awareness, resilience and, crucially, their ability to identify grooming and prevent abuse before it starts.
As the following testimonials show, people who take part in Enough Abuse training have found the courses to be both powerfully affecting, and highly effective for children and adults alike…
A spellbinding presentation
Marilyn Hawes of Enough Abuse UK recently gave a presentation for my Year 7 and 8 pupils here at Heath Mount. I wanted to impress on the pupils quite how powerful they could be as individuals both in a positive and negative light. I have seen Marilyn speak before and knew she would be ideal for the job. At times, the impact is far greater when the pupils hear it coming from somewhere or someone else.
Marilyn led a spellbinding presentation where the pupils where engaged from the outset. Her delivery, ability to capture imagination and engage the pupils is fantastic. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
This is the second time we have used Marilyn from Enough Abuse UK to deliver training. She has delivered to both staff and pupils, and I have no doubt she will be back again at some point to further enhance our understanding and knowledge, and further equip us with the skills to deal with some very complex, but crucial aspects of keeping children safe.

By far the best child protection inset we've had
Marilyn, the CEO of Enough Abuse UK, delivered by far the best Safeguarding and Child Protection Inset we have had. She held us spellbound for two hours, opened our minds both as teachers and parents, and raised wider issues that most of us have never considered.
I thoroughly recommend Marilyn. All schools should hear her story.

Very engaging, interactive and productive
We were very fortunate to host Mrs Marilyn Hawes at Azhar Academy Girls School to deliver an assembly to our Year 7 and Year 9 pupils, educating them about child abuse.
Marilyn was a very engaging speaker and clearly outlined the work of EAUK. The assembly was interactive and productive and the content was age appropriate. Furthermore, it was met with positive feedback from students and teachers alike.
As a school, we would most certainly welcome EAUK again, and would definitely consider arranging a similar presentation for the parents of our students.
I highly commend her professionalism when dealing with the students. Marilyn continues to motivate our students who look forward to embark on more projects with her in the future.
Please do not hesitate to contact me should you require further information.
